Onslaught is a tower defence strategy game like the ones Shock Defence, Desktop Tower Defense and Flash Circle TD. Although it holds the basic logic of these type of games, it is the one with most features that I’ve ever seen…
Firstly you don’t have to play on a single map like in the others, instead there are 7 different maps. Secondly, it has an improved tower upgrade mechanism. You can upgrade damage, rate of fire, and range individually. Lastly, the towers can perform combo attacks, meaning two or more towers can attack stronger if you place them on a correct pattern. In addition to these great features, you can use shortcuts for almost everything which makes things easier. The first 100 levels are not so hard, but it starts being a nightmare after 100…

I made a score of 89.298.000, survived for 124 levels, and killed 1210 attackers, but I’m still working on it.

My best is, 119.715.600. I made it upto level 139 and killed 1340 attackers. Am I the only one that is playing the game?
how u do get it we cant get passed level 126
The key is using combo attacks. The one that I like much is the color ball which fires like a laser gun with an excellent rate. When I get this combo I sent two or three waves of attacks same time by pressing space. And the ball clears nearly all the attackers.
Remember that the type of combo is dependent to the first attacking tower. And to get the laser firing ball the first tower must be the laser gun. To ensure that, I placed the towers far away from entry point, upgraded the green (laser) towers range to the max level, and left Red and Blue towers’ range at minimum.
If an attacker enters to the range of other towers, they start to attack individually and you can’t make combos anymore.

Not true with the lazer being the first attacking tower. It’ll still shoot out with every other tower’s range. i made it to lvl 163 so far on map 1 with this set up in the first turn area.

And random upgrades on the other side of the roads.

Nice addicting game
I made it upto level 146 on about half the maps. The BFG weapon formed by the laser+missile+gun(+missile for rocket bfg) is really useful, especially if you line up two of them.
I find that the other combinations don’t really help kill the enemies past level 130. The nukes are powerful early on, but are less useful later on when enemies take loads of damage to kill. A nuke often doesn’t kill them in one shot, where as the bfg can kill multiple enemies past level 130.
My thoughts thus far is to start by setting up a placement of turrets to touch each other to make the combos work (when damage is maxed, read instructions for more info). Upgrading the laser turret to max range and max rate of fire, with random damage upgrades. With the addition of your rocket and gun turrets, you can streamline 5+ waves at the same time and the laser turret at max rate of fire/range will take out most of them. Then upgrade a single missile turret and gun, giving you tier 1 bfg. Then upgrade the 2nd missile turret, giving you the missile bfg.
I found that creating two or more bfgs work better then buying a bunch of ‘bonus’ turrets. I am not even sure if the bonus turrets give bonuses beyond the max (when you have maxed an attribute). However 2-3 bfgs do far more damage then a single 8500 damage mod turret imo.
Finally, using right click + play during different parts of the game (mainly after you die) can cause the maps to screw up. I have played combination maps where the road is drawn everywhere, kinda neat.
I just wanted to follow up to my above post. Just incase you are interested in playing even more, check out the game forums by visiting their site. There are a lot of different builds to maximize your kills. I tried out a ‘nuclear flower’ strategy and made it upto level 190

i got to lvl 120 or summink, by gettin a corridor of powerful guns and a full upgraded rocket thing with quite a few combo stuff. i had to come off tho so i sent like ten levels at once. nearly did it, aswell.
this game owns but i only got to lvl 178… how

I’m at lvl 317 and counting, on the Lyne map. It should continue indefinitely. I’ve got 5 black hole combos.
I started with a nuke combo and line up about 6 tazers right outside the range of the missile. The tazers slow down and group the monsters so once they get in missile range, a single nuke blows them all up. This works until lvl 138 which gives you enough cash to spread black hole combos (3 tazers, 1 lazer) along the path. Only problem is you don’t get any cash for killing them with a black hole.
i got to level 401 using 12 nuke towers(which i disposed of after 179) and then 13 black hole combos
This game is so boring… I was on level 1381 with only 2 black holes… and then quit outta boredom…
i got to level 181 but den it got too hard but da sniper weapon u get on level 135 n u get da fusion weapon on level 142 do not help as the fusion sucks in power and the sniper fires at a slow rate so is this game possible and what is the nex turret available????
Got to level 503. Still no new turret available.
In the first step it is best to use tazer-rockets (see combos) and improve them with as many +100% damage ad-ons as possible.
At row 280 the rockets do not work any more… you’ll need the nukes (again improved with +100% damage and +120% rate).
It is very important to have lots of tazers for slowing down the enemies. At level 450 it needs 3-4 nukes …

I got up to a score of 380,000,000 roughly estimated as I don’t remember now on a pretty odd but somehow fitting to the game map I made on my own.
I made it to level 141 with 1,352 kills. I Forgot My score
to get to super high lvls {500} like me, You just have to build a square and overlap it like 50 times and then shove a bunch of fully upgraded weapons inside of it. I suggest fully upgraded cannons {not missles} and they will deploy mines wich are very helpful.

I got 2568 kills and got to wave 260. The railgun/fusion/sniper helps a ton. max out their damage.
use cheat engine and hack that ****** game
just start off building cluster bomb- then build tazer rockets with the 100% dmg boost- that should give you enough money to build 2-3 nukes-then build 4 tazers at the place where the attackers come from-build more nukes- max out every weapon and boost them with 100% dmg, + 120 rate and, +100 range-then build a fusion gun and max taht out too-keep building nukes/or build blackholes- this should take you upretty far. i got bored.

Heyy I’m really addicted to this game, I’m at about Level 168 with about 1700 kills!
It’s getting really hard now but I’ve got 3 different combos going so hopefully I can last longer.

PS. That was with a BFG Rocket combo, a Laser Rockets combo and a Black Hole combo.
I’d just added a railgun when I wrote that but it’s not doing much good.

Anyways, what noobs!!!!! Try following this plan as close as you can…
1. Rocket: max it out
2. Place Blue turret next to rocket and max out
3. Place another Blue turret next to rocket, and near the other blue, so they are within 1 turret distance, and max out
(You have a nuke, as well as landmine combo)
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to build another nuke combo, probably on the other side of the path, or somewhere near the other nuke. Not next to it.
5. Place about 4-6 yellow tasers at the entrance where creeps spawn. Start maxing them out best you can, upgrading each of them equally, not maxing one out, then another, and so forth.
6. Place 4-6 damage modifiers (100%) around EACH NUKE combo. Upgrade range so you can benefit others.
7. Place 2-4 rate modifiers near each nuke combo and upgrade range
8. Place a third nuke around mid of the map, not the middle of the screen. But like the mid of the path, as if you were to walk it, and find a midpoint. Place damage and range modifiers around nuke.
9. Place 4-5 yellow tasers in a group near third nuke and start maxing in the same manner as others.
10. Make a black hole combo (1 green laser, 3 yellow tasers around it) at end, where you try to keep creeps away. Max it out.
11. Place several rate modifiers around black hole.
12. If money is still plentiful, or you are starting to need to use third nuke or black hole, place some Huge Lasers in a line facing the creeps. Max them out, and place many damage mods and rate mods around them.
13. Watch, go find porn, or something. XD

i used the tips from www.towerdefence.net and the rest i descovered myself what i’m intrested in is that i only got up to the rail gun but i never got to see the last two towers what are they and what do they do? (and what combo’s do they unlock?)

ive got one of the last two towers, its called combonly, i dunno wtf it duz but if u place shit towers like canon or rockets near it it eats them lol

Its very hard and I can´t pass.
i aim still wondering wtf the combonly does but i had mattys problem heehee no more cannons and rockets if i put it near there XD
To give you an idea how to get further in the game, here is what I worked out after a few tries.
Build 1 blue tower in a spot with double coverage (covering 2 sides of a road. EX: a corner). Upgrade its firepower. Then rate of fire. Repeat that process until you max the gun.
By now, the “increase firepower” mod is available. Build that next. Then, in the range of that firepower station, build a second simple blue tower. Upgrade it to maximum (do not upgrade range on any tower). Now, build a lightning trap thing (also within the powerup range).
Upgrade its fire speed until the “increase rate of fire” comes up. Not the one that decreases other stats. The solid +rate of fire one. Build it to cover your towers.
After this, I built some rocket towers. Built one, upgraded to max, then another, upgrade, etc. Upgrading is worth FAR more than a new tower.
I’m on level 300 now and still going strong.
my first time through, i am on level “SInus” and i ahve 3 nukes set up with 15X damage, 16X damage, and 17X damage using “Big damage up”… ive made it to level 490 and counting, nobody has made it past the first turn in around 200 levels, im pretty much invincible, im gonna put up a black hole to insure i cant be beat… the straightaway has got like 300 mines on it, so even if some make it by they will dye before leaking
it got boring, nothing made it anywhere and my machine was lagging any extra, i could beat everything in the game with only 4 towers at the right spot, cuz i sold all but 4 towers and was still going, then i sold those four and gave up, cuz i was bored, with:

Ok, just to clear things up, the combonly is a REALLY good weapon (its the second to last one) you place a combo around the combonly(so black hole would be, tazer, tazer, tazer, laser) then max out their damage. When the combonly turns the color of the weapon you usually want to shoot first, click on the combonly. The combonly will then use the combo AND ONLY THE COMBO, when enemies are in range!

yo who knows where i can get cheat engine 5.4 for free cos when i dwnld one it said that startup files were corrupt. yeh i suk at this man i keep losing. last weapon is the void or somethin.
I got to lvl 780, but around lvl 350 I stopped getting points for kills and stop getting cash. I think the program bugged out on me. I eventually stopped after wave 780. Has anyone else has this problem, or seen this problem. Only thing I think of is something with the Black Holes.

I made it to wave 1200+++(more than 1200 with 4 Black Hole combos). Since I can’t get money and kills from Black Hole so my kills are just 2000+++

The secret is Laser chains. Build em right and get over 200 trillion damage. I got to wave 889 or something with my best laser chain.

i only knew 1 combo, and improvised the rest by placing random colelctions of towers together and upgrading.
the best combo is by far 2 x cannon.
fill the sides of the track with cannons at full damage and then put other nice combos you may know further out.
its very effective but you lag much after wave 150.
when your combos have made alot of mines, you can release 10-20 waves at a time

i got 3952 kills wave 402 and 2812124640 score. I got this with 11 rockets, 7 machine guns, 3 lasers, 5 tasers, 1 fusion tower, 7 rail guns, and 7 boosters. All the towers were maxed.
Had great combo’s but sold everything cuz i wanted to see what the sniper could do but they sucked so at lvl 800 +- i killed myself and got to wave 951

hey tips: you can combine lasers cannons rockets and tazers using the last tower in the game. if you come up to level 150 or something it will show. try to put that last tower beside those thing you should combine with. for example 2 cannons and 1 rockets, it will become a rocket that only shoots an a-bomb. but it wont work if the towers you will combine are not fully upgraded. and it doesn’t work to all but it works and it works great.
