how do you buy stuff?
In this chapter there is only 1 shop you can buy stuff at and that is the item shop if you are using a “gliched” version you cant buy anything, by the way I found that you can get both kids to wear 2 copper rings each it raises their def by 2.
Does anyone know what the 7th relick is? I read all the bookcases and only found 6, they are the stones of fire, wind, water, earth, light, and dark, those are all the elements except maby ether, but I dont think theres a stone for that.

i have beaten both lol the first is problem solving and the dragon bit is a bit of imagonation u need to leave gonzor by going to the arrow at the south of the small villige going to soothwood traveling through there and gong to the CRASH SITE
the second ur a solder and it gets a little harder later u get to a very hard bit which you are probily meant to lose every1 is lv 10 and there is 4 of em ur only lv 5 around and they can kill u 1 hit i died 5 times and realised that it was impossible and go to menu when u are tele ported elsewhere i beat it but it took me about 3 hours lol great rewards tho
1.Go train to lvl 2,fight the boss and then go in the ship,talk and talk and talk,go back to your house and sleep,then fishish.
2.When u training,make sure u have train your skill.
3.only Mardek 2 can buy weopan and other stuff, mardek 1 just can buy potion

i have two questions, both 4 chapter 2. One is can u buy spells? And two is like when i have skills that i supposingly can master, they dont show up. WHy?

to beat all of the crew u just have to train ur ppl. it’ll also help if u get a fourth person. I personally reccommed zach, u can find him at the inn in the village thats not goznor. I killed them all in this order, the girl, the knight, the wizard, and then the bandana guy.
P.S. so can u buy spells or not?

phew, finaly finished.sad ending though. deugan dies and magic girl goes away to some secret misson she didnt get assigned to her.than the paladin boy goes away so youre allone + (as i said) deugan dies so u got no one else

not sure, but i think u can buy spells in Gonzor.
just for curiosity, how long should it take to beat bartholio, cuz ive been wrkn on it for bout a week or 2.
and for the M shield, not sure, but u COULD break it if u find the great sword in the tainted grotto that has “barrier breaker” that only Deugan can use, like i said, not sure.
does anyone have cheats to get past bartholio? im desperate!
It really isn’t that hard to beat Bartholio. It helps to have Vehrn, who has ‘Smite Evil’, and concentrate on Bernard. Bartholio himself really isnt that hard, its Aalia and Bernard that do a lot of the annoying things, so its important to eliminate them first, Bernard by using Smite Evil, and have Emela concentrate on casting spells at Aalia. Also, break any shields that Aalia casts with Deugan. Bartholio should be easy to beat, once everyone else is gone.
how do i get to the necromancer/alien in the goznor catacombs-B2? i cant find another door/way down there.

hi. i was wondering if anyone knew where the other trilobite keys are. the fourth one is found on the bandit you let go (if you did let him go in your first soldier quest) i think he is in the canonia inn. the first one is in the tainted grotto, there is a black space where the key is. if you dont know how to get to the trilobite cave, it is south of the entrance to the eastern glens.
i figured out how to go thru the hol game with the imaginary ppl from the beggining. just go untill u have to go to the where there r monsters and die but in order for this to work u cant save b4 hand then wen u see death just say to start new game ull b back wen u died and wen u get into a fight ull trans form into the lv 50 ppl
well, after maaaaaaaaaaaaaaany tries later i beet Bartholio. Now how do i defeat the Shaman?

Kristina, just try to think os a strategy 2 beet the Shaman. It took me 3 or 4 times to beet her. Just keep trying and ull get it.

it’s easy..it helped me because i had zach(u can get him in the inn of canonia) he’s really guud but he starts off at level 5
i cat get through the catacombs b2 there is nowhere to go….i checked the map and it showed routes but i looked and nothing was there……
Me, i think the locksmith is in b2, the part im in. I havnt beetn him yet, but i think u have to beet him to get out. And Kristina do u also have Vehrn? Cuz then i can switch people and use Zach cuz when i paid him he wasnt following me.

kit, i really cant explain to u how to get to b3. All i can say is try to find a passage somewhere in the bottom left of b2 ull find it… eventually…

so is there a special way to defeat the shaman? she keeps healing with that weird move of hers and if i use barrier breaker, it dosent really work, she’s still heavily guarded, help please!
Bumway, as i said to Kristina previously, try 2 think of a STRATEGY Don’t think as to so much BEAT her, just figure out her weeknesses and vulnerabilities. Keep trying and ull get it.
but im extremly low on cash and im not very patient with random battles. but thats my problem… i just cant seem to reach her with full stats, im hurt in some way or another and like i said, money is a problem for me. any tips at all?
well, i THINK i have an idea for u, bumway. Just walkaround and beat the monsters and u could get money or potions or whatever if u succeed in beating them. Im sorry but this might take some patience. It took me a couple of weeks 2 beat Bartholio. Keep trying.

I’m with kit. Are there double-secret passages that aren’t on the map on catacombs b2 and b3? I’m about to give up on this game. I checked the top left area of b2 that you mentioned over and over again. Another hint please?? (begging)

P.S: 2 beat the Locksmith, mainly use Vehrn if u have him, and if ur like me it WILL take a while. Also, u should focus on using Mardek to heal everybody, except for Emela ‘cuz she’s really not much help.
ok, i beat first moric first try, im a bit impressed with myself, but how do you kill 2nd moric? i’ve also noticed that the healing crystal gets farhter and farter away from the boss
sweet, i beat him 2nd or 3rd try, every time i come here and ask for help i beat the guy the next try! kinda weird. so when’s the next chapter coming out?
i don’t think deugan dies… he just might come back either the next chapter or the 4th one, he’s a main character, they can’t just kill him off like that! i’ll betcha he lives
is heal all mardek gets or does he get some other skill cuz i only saw like a cure skill deal but then the game froze and i didnt get it back when i reloaded so how you get madreks skills?

well mardek is the healer in the game
but mardek should have more than just heal right?
Look at each piece of equipment by pressing “a” for “abilities”. Move the item in the inventory menu to the next character and check again for abilities. Each character can use certain items to train abilities and “Master” them.
When you have mastered them you can ditch the item which gave those abilities when you have a better item. To first “Master” your abilities is very usefull in this game. MARDEK RULES
It’s very helpful to get all the trilobite keys and go through the cave. Mardek gets a powerful sword as a reward.
It’s very helpful to master all the skills for Deugan as the swords for him come available. Going back through the catacombs to social fox’s tomb is worthwhile…the undead dragon takes some time (and Vehrn’s disrupt undead skill), but Deugan gets a powerful sword as a reward. For folks stuck in the catacombs–there are secret passages in the walls. If you’re at the same screen height as the sign for the map shop but in the hallway to the right, you can walk into the right-hand wall and make your way to lvl 3.
For beating the locksmith, moric, moric, the shaman, and basically any other baddie that isn’t the guard dog, try emela’s lightning bolt + paralasys skill with the air rod. It gets you a reprieve from their attacks some of the time.
Also, try using the right elements against eachother…
Fire kills air
water kills fire
earth kills water
air kills earth
light kills dark
Zach’s crescendo attack is pretty sweet by the end, if you can find the weapon that lets him learn it.
I’m on chapter two, and I’m stuck in the catacombs. There’s that stupid ad for Bob’s Mappe Shoppe, and I could really use a map right now because I’m sooo lost. But I don’t know where the map shop is! It’s actually kind of frustrating, because I’ve never been lost in Mardek before. I’ve soared through the game. BUT I’M STUCK!!! WAAAAAAAAH!!! (Sorry. Randomness.) K I’m done… please help!!!

I just finished the game and i was hoping i could go back somehow and shop at canoia. I cant. still zombies and all that. Is there some way to be able to buy weapons and armor there?
Why do u ppl think finding the right passageway to go to the boss that of a pain? I found it right away. And by the way, if u use the lighting+paralyze on the shaman, it doesn’t effect her. And to all of u ppl that don’t see your skills that you know u have mastered, check the help section. And why am i using so many ands…..ands…..end-e=a.
I good Idea, when you’re lost or want to make sure you’ve collected all the treasures in an area is to check your ‘map’ function found near the bottom of your ‘menu’, also It will show you secret passageways if you have walked past them.

Hi Person! I haven’t been on here in like, forever. I quit Mardek for a while and started playing Deliverance, which was fun while it lasted, but it was only a demo so once I got to Porton the game ended. But anyway, thanks for helping me! I look forward to playing Mardek again! :-D:-D:-D:-D:-D

Definitely an awesome game. I’m also stuck at the other adventuring party, but I took the time to get every chest so now I don’t suck half as bad the first time I tried Mardek 2.
As to beating the other crew: Give Deugan or Mardek lots of armor. If it gets nearly impossible, use Warp and go back to all the areas that you’ve been to before and look for ALL the chests. In the Canonia Woods, go immediately south. You’ll find the Shaman’s house after a bit.
Absolutely love this game, but I don’t know how it ends. Should I bother asking?
i think the game is very childish.
The dialogue is as if it were thought up by a 8 year old kid.

just use a phoenexdown thing on any undead boss and it will do up to 300 dmg

My GOD! You people are all lazy and insanely crappy players of this game! I beat Bartholio’s team on my first try, in a minute or so. Ditto for the “shaman” who was EASY. If you want to make her even EASIER, just use a remedy on her. It’ll remove all of her status effects and render her completely vulnerable to everything you throw at her. Obviously, a lot of you can’t figure out how to get everyone’s skills for themselves. By the way, you require all 4 keys to open the god-damn trilobyte cave. I cannot believe that gamergeek95 also asks for help on everything! Can’t you simply beat something without looking at a STRATEGY GUIDE!?
