Temple Guardian is a new tower defence game with many features. You are in charge of guarding the sacred Temple of Lightning and fire. Build arrow and catapult towers and other facilities to defeat waves of attack by allien animals and weird objects. The game not only includes towers, and tower upgrades but also some traps to set. In addittion to the present maps, you can also design your own map and play on it. Have fun!

can anyone tell me how to beat this frickin game? im stuck!
At the bottom left of the screen, next to the research label there are 5 circulat buttons, click on them to make the related research. Until now, I am not sucessful on this game, so I can’t give you a good research strategy.
I also need some tips from tower defence masters to beat the game.
Try to build towers at a corner where they will come back around, so you can attack them multiple times. Use arrow towers… They’re alot easier, the walls stink. Trust me I’m a pro, and I play Line Tower Wars on
Warcraft III : Frozen Throne.
I beat the game by using the blocking traps. (barrier walls, and sky-nets) Because they are really cheap, and stops the creatures for a long time, you can finish them with less towers, which means less spending.
The more money you save, the more interest you get at the end of the turn. After a while you will have more money than you need, which makes things easier.
I can’t guarantee a good place on highscore list, but the strategy will help you on beating the game. (At least it worked superior on me.)

I finally beat the game. The way to beat it is as follows:
1st level, build a poison pit. It will kill all the guys (on easy) for the first three levels. After that, buy an arrow tower and upgrade it fully. This should be strong enough to kill the bad guys for the next couple levels. Buy about four arrow towers and upgrade them fully, until you get enough gold and miracle to buy a lightening tower. Once you get the lightening tower, you will be unstoppable for a while. Keep building lightening towers, and you should be able to sell your arrow towers. Don’t upgrade your lightening towers, its a waste of money. The more you have, the faster they shoot. Another tip is to build a wall after the bonus guy comes onto the path, and you can trap him when he tried to escape, put a lot of towers where you trap him. With this method, you will be able to beat the game on easy.

There a 50 levels to play. At the end of 30th, chapter 1 will be finished, and you will play another 20 on chapter 2…

You know how it says you can’t build stuff near the entrance, well build a poison pit one block away from the entrance, this will make it so that the horseman can not turn around, and he will idle in the pit where your arrow guys can shoot him.

Agreed, lightning towers are definetely the way to go. I got a problem at level 40 though, the game just seemed to stop sending out enemies.. any idea how to fix this?
Lee, you probably have lightning towers right at their entrance, so they won’t come out anymore

how do u get on the hi scores??? i beat the game and all i got was like 8000
something that might help you figure out why my score was low - i used money to make more and more lightning towers (probably like 20 in all)
To get a high score, U need to keep ur money higher than ur score. One way i got my score above 78,264 was by having a made map in a curent were my weapons always hit the enemy, keeping only a minumun of 5 biuldings in ch. 1, then using my glitch.
so, toward the end, I shouldn’t bulid more towers? I barely survived with just a few around lvl 40

Here is a guide that will help u beat the game on normal
With a high score.
Use map(7)
Ch.1(only have up to 5 weapons.)
(Lvl. 1)The second square in front of the enemy base put a poison pit.
If u somehow get a treasure wagon stuck there on the pit(glitch)
*Then build a weapon(arrow)
*Once it die’s, sell the weapon.
(Lvl. 2)Don’t do anything unless another treasure wagon get stuck.
Repeat the process above.*
(lvl. 3)Repeat number 2(Lvl. 2)
(Lvl. 4) Before it starts, sell the poison pit and put a new poison
Pit. If one of the enemy’s end up going in the ground.
Put a poison pit in front of it.
(lvl. 5)Now this is the only part that the money will go under the score.
Put and upgrade full a cannon in front of the poison pit.
It should look like this:
(X: Enemy base, Y: Road, P: poison pit, C: Cannon)
Note this is only showing the line where the enemy base is.

I found Stingray’s glitch before this I found this forum, and yes please help me through ch 2
I figured out how to get the insane highscores for any one who is bored and wants 2 do it.
First set the game to EASY. ( so there is no time limit)
then follow the tactic with the lightning towers until u are pretty rich. Upgrade the research that makes towers cheaper fully (6) Then buy a crappy eagle tower, upgrade it fully, and sell it. U will get more money back! do this lots of times 2 get UNLIMITED MONEY! the more money u have the more bonus and more bonus = more score!
I made the guide for CH. 1 and 2.
But Sence Ch. 2 has out come that can happen
differently then its supost to, Ch. 2 has guide lines before u do CH. 2. Both are about 2 pages long so be prepared when I put them on.

Now here is the full guide with both Ch. In it.
I will try to make it as simple as possible.
Ch. 1
(Use map 7 and only have 5 towers)
(LVL. 1-3)
Put a poison pit on the second square(the only place u can put it)
In front of the enemy base.
If u some how activate the glitch with the poison pit(treasure wagon
Cant run away) Then put a arrow tower in front of it.
When it dies, sell the arrow tower.
(LVL.4)
Sell the poison pit and replace it with another one.
Note: u must do this through out Ch. 1 to get a high amount of
Money, miracles , and score.
This is so when ever the TW.=treasure wagon gets stuck,
U kill it and u get a high amount of money and miracles.
(LVL. 5)
Now this is the part where u will keep the cannon through out Ch. 1.
Place the Cannon in front(or behind which ever way u see it)
And upgrade it fully. Note the money will go below the score.
It will look like this on only one line:
(X: Enemy base, Y: Road, P: poison pit, C: Cannon)
Note this is only showing the line where the enemy base is.

Follow the directions from LVL. 1-4
(Note: when the poison pit gets at or below hp. 7, sell it and replace it.

The rest of the building u put down, the easiest is the lightning buildings.
U will have 4 of them so u must sell the Arrow tower.
It makes the LVL. S a lot easier.
U may need to put traps once in a while and u must replace the poison pit
in front of the enemy base.
Hint: never pause when the timer start after a LVL. The timer will still go on
In pause put will not start the LVL. Until u un pause.
Now for Ch. 2 guide.
I know the easiest way to kill most enemy’s is to be able to
Have all the lightning towers able to connect with each other.
another way I got through Ch. 2 was I had the hole bottom row
Filled with eagle nest and fully upgraded.(it helped with the healing enemy’s)
So here is a part or full guide with no LVL. S to look at.
(Note: recover enemy’s recover very fast so eagles(a lot) are able to kill them.(estimated
Eagles are about 15 or more)
Now on Ch. 2 u will need to make almost every tower, trap, and upgrade.
This is because they a evil.
Make like six eagle nest when Ch. 2 starts.
When the LVL. Starts, kill the enemy that shoots with the eagles.
It makes it a lot quicker.
U must still fix the poison trap in front of enemy base.
Now u will need to make some traps and building,
(most u should use is lightning towers and make them connect)
Now still watch the money because u don’t want to go below ur score.
When each LVL. Starts. Kill the recover and the people that are able to shoot
With the eagles while ur buildings kill the rest.
Watch the enemy closely because they can be tricky at times. U must
Watch every enemy and every LVL. Then set traps and walls ex.
U must now in this Ch. Upgrade ur building.
Depending where u put ur buildings and ur traps, ex.
Always go after the recover and shooting enemy’s.
Upgrade most of ur weapons.
U will beat Ch. 2. If u have ur pieces in the correct spot.
Sorry that this guide is like this way but it’s the only way to tell u

Its like a hint because Ch. 2 is like almost impossible to correctly place pieces when

ok, so i was playing and if u put a poison pit in the spot right in front of the entrance (after the spot that u cant put stuf on) then put sum arrow towers by it too. then wen the bonus animal comes, he wil get stuck. and u can get the bonus points easy. then after i was playing the lvl 30 animals on easy where my gold was ment 2 be and where my miracles where suposed 2 be a word “NaN” showed up and i had unlimited money and miracles!

i used sting rays guide for the first part of it then i added more poision pits in various corners and then i had fun with lightning towers ^.^
and also blocked off the entrance from the temple with about 20 or so walls and net traps all upd maxed
pwned u rlly helped me out after i filled up the map with lightning i sold all thos and put in the dragon things and got on the bottom of the 7th page
dang thoose scores change FAST =P
I have run into the NaN glitch before. The reason is as follows: If you have a wall or net, right when enemies approach it and start bringing its hp down, sell the wall/net. It works very often and you will have a NaN where your gold/miracle is supposed to be. This stands for Not a Number, which usually happens when you have a decimal number where an integer should be (ex: 4.56 where a 4 should be). This glitch is nice because you can buy whatever you want, however, you will not get on the leaderboards with this glitch, because for some reason, it doesn’t help your score out much.
PS: I have found a way to get to 183,000. I’m 9th alltime, kohlisaN00B is my username.

I beat the game and the best way to beat it is to have lots of traps, blocks and Birds that chase, don’t spend all your money on towers because it isn’t that helpful. I had about 20 bird chasers and they helped me more then towers. By the way, when you get to the 2nd chapter ALWAYS KILL THE WIZARDS FIRST! Hope I helped

Well The treasure wagon is easy to get Sorta You Can put Some Spike traps down and the Treasure guy gets stuck and Put lots of Cannons/Towers around the Start At the Start

If you save up enough money though guys, as im sure you’ll know, you get infinate money, which rocks, be sure to make loads of eagles nest, thats the best way to kill those evil gold crouching tigers at the end.

Dudes! Start with a poison pool and a single tower, its all you need til level 5 when you get your first flying enemies. So get an eagle tower and for the next 15 or so levels thats all you need! then get a couple of lightning towers and for the first chapter your done, try not to spend more than you have to. By the time you get to the second chapter you should have enough money and miracles to cover the place with lightning towers, and then my friends- your kicking ass! Peace.

dont worry about research or sacred towers until u r well situated and when you get enough money arrow towers upgraded (and catapult but they r more expensive) r very powerfull and have long range
HINT: try placing a posion trap infront of the entrance it will stop the treashure cart from escaping and if u also have towers near the entrance u will get lots of money
this game is ALOTT of fun when you can play well

Stingray i followed your guide V2 up through chapter 1 then i went and laced a lot of lightning towers completely upgraded around randomly
when chariot comes, after he gets attacked build a wall behind him. towers can finish off.
If you make a map and put the Temple nere the starting spot than you can place stronger towers that you can only place nere the Temple nere the start

… lol.. and i tried to beat the score using random map…how stupid of me
The only working cheat is the poison trap 2 blocks from the door. However, I am finding no relation between gold count, miracles, shrewdness and scoring. For example, I consistently beat the game with well over 50k in gold and 10k in miracle count. However my final score avg’s 60 to 70k. I have achieved 130k however it seems changes have been made in the game program. My scores never exceed 100k despite using the same exact strategy as before. Also, Shewdness caps at 3, rather than 6 like the others which reveals the Eagle cheat posted earlier is total BS.
Scrimping on tower purchases and using traps instead only ensures higher gold bonuses and NOT a higher score. I have yet to see higher gold and mirror counts to effect any better scores. There is another formula because I have had my scores leap better at lvl change which much less gold and miracle counts. I just finished a basic board with 58k in gold, 11k in miracles, and only 62K as a final score. So the theory that scrimping helps the overall score is soundly disproved.
Evidently people are clocking in 150 to 220K scores, as indicated by the high score board. I do know they are doing this through customizing boards and other cheats they wont reveal.
Anyone got some cheats to share other than the poison trap by the board? I’d love to post a 180 to 200k score just once!
Tsunami, I have checked out those custom boards on the high score chart. VERY cool! However, I used several of them only to acquire the same scores.
Evidently you need lightning towers to beat the game consistently. Which I do. Using the traps does make it less stressful but miracle counts seem to suffer as a result.
I am planning to retain the poison trap by entrance cheat but it seems rows of traps are counter productive when seeking higher scores.
I was nailing over 100k consistently before but I think adding in the traps might be what has ruined my grove. I also nailed 120-130K without enhancing shrewdness. I alway used enhanced arrow towers until I could eliminate them in favor of the lightning tower.
I think there is a simple trade off for lightning towers. You can max out a few with cross fire rows or just but a boatload of regular ones and enhance their distance ability. It seems it costs the same in gold going either way.
Also, I am seeing no correlation with scrimping gold expenditures and higher scores. Sure I have a boatload of money however scoring remains meager. It’s quite sad when your gold count almost beats your final overall score. There must be something more to enhancing lvl bonus for overall score that I am missing.

YEAH!!! I was right!! Using traps is BAD! I eliminated all but the poison trap by entrance. I stuck with enhanced arrow towers and upgraded to lightning towers as the game progressed. I used NO TRAPS and only nets in lvls 1-12 to get flying enemies. After I acquired lightning towers, there was no need for nets. I used no nail traps for the entire game.
Result? Using same strategy without traps increased my final score from 62k to 115k!!
Also, the scrimping strategy is wholly disproved. I bought up arrow towers and enhanced them whenever possible. I arrived at Chapter 2 (lvl 30) with 23k! Although my gold count suffered and my miracle count stayed below 5k for the entire game, my score leapt 5 to 7k per level throughout chapter 2. Therefore, the game must calculate end bonuses via many other factors. The scrimping strategy is utterly false.
Maxing out shrewdness doesn’t help scoring BUT it does help you purchase towers for cheaper and gives your more “bang” for your buck earlier on. So I suggest enhancing ASAP.
So now, I search for the other cheats to get me into to 150K + realm.
Any suggestions?
UPDATE! Same strategy will custom board. 2 straight roads across board only, very fundamental board. Poison trap next to entrance. Maxed out arrow towers and lightning towers as soon as available. No upgrades to lightning towers, just add more as game progressed.
27K at lvl 30. 128K at game end. 5 to 7k bonuses in Chapter 2.
I am thinking 150k and above necessitates some other cheat or game hack. Any ideas?

200k i think is possible without cheat, except the poison pit near entrance
i got 190k playing the map i created, where the temple is situated next to the entrance so i was able to build lighting tower very early in the game, around level 9-10, then for the next 10 level, i only need to build a net and a wall and that’s it , dont have to spend anything on any upgrade and at the end of chptr 1, i had 4 lightning towers, 2 walls, 2 nets for precaution and i think that cost me a bit of points since i dun really need them
then yeah.. keep building more lighting, at lvl 50, i have around 20 towers, 1 net 1 wall
next time, i’ll try to minimise the wall and net thing

no need to build a temple near the entrance. Just save up and buy a lightning tower early.
Remember, scrimping doesn’t enhance end lvl bonuses. I assure you. I’ve scrimped and spent and made more points spending.

i do not believe it. i won. i got a few lightning towers. a whole bunch of trap spikes. upgrade a few
eagles. a whole lot of barrier walls. this was the
first round. oh by the way, in the very begining
bye a poison pool. put it as close to the place
where they come out. not all boards accept this move. quit game. start new one. has to be right near where they come out. cause litle car comes out.
it stays on poison pool square and gets points.round 7 = 70 points. and so on. but it don’t come out all the time. be patient. 2nd round bye lots of
lightning towers. and you will win

This is easy…
Just make thousands of arrow towers in the 1st chapter, and in the second, replace them with lightning.
i dont know what level i was at but i assume it was near lvl 49….. i built all lightning towers with two dragon towers. i was able to kill all enemies except these two flying ones who recover….because they were immune to my sacred tower attacks!!!
i beat the game!!!!! all you have to do,
when you get to the 2nd chapter just buy a sacred towers
all you have to do is put a lot of sacred towers and when you have enough 2 beat the game just stop buying stuff so you will get more money

the lightning towers were freakin crazy
guys i found a cheat its very simple to put a poision pool at the very beggining and put an arrow tower in range then treasure guys willl get stuck there it cool
Start with 1 arrow tower near the entrance, fully upgrade it, carry on putting down arrow towers and upgrading them at corners where the enemies turn around and walk back towards it.
When you can, build lots of lightning towers, if anyone didn’t notice, which i hope they did, if they are close together they chain their attack power into 1 beam on 1 enemy :).
Also near the end just encase the temple in lightning towers, you can’t lose then.
What i just said OR put fire towers down, either 1 will ensure your victory, upgrading them is kind of useless because when you have alot their chained attack beam can destroy almost anything with ease.
Watch the mole creatures (ones that can dig) later on they will pop up in front of/near your temple.
Only con about lightning towers is they degrade if an enemy attacks them or not.
THE GAME IS BORING
btw the treasure glitch isint just with poison pits if the treasure wagon gets hit by any wepon or damaging trap in that area it will remain paused there so u can do this with spike pits or if ur arrows tower gets a lucky shot on the treasure wagon

Another easy way to win, but it takes you chasing the whole game is to build eagle towers every chance you get. They can be sent out like snipers and they kill very effectively, I only used one arrow tower and then sold it for the eagle. After you have a few eagles you will be killing everyone, just keep chasing them down. A couple placed traps help and maybe a lighting tower if you are not good at chasing but those eagles dominate.

when you have a car that escapes fast put a wall in front of him so you can kill him.
i got the best score in the game and im going around bragging about it. anyways these are not the best ways to complete the game. what you need to do is place a poison trap 12 squares away from their basethen just place cannons around. until you can get lightning towers and upgrade them fully you need 5 of them. whenyou can get dragons and upgrade them fully do that but you need birds aswell because they kill the tresure chest…. thats how i won the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pwned is right and a trick to get the wagon is to put a poison pool as close as you can to the entry point and itll trap it
