For me the most time consuming game type is tower defence games. The first tower defence game I played is the Flash Element TD by David Scott. I remember that I played the game for 16 hours without giving a break. David then released the second serie of the game Flash Circle TD. After the high popularity of Flash Element, other games from other developers were also published like Shock Defence, Desktop Tower Defense, Onslaught Tower Defence and many others…
Vector TD is the new tower defence gam from Davit Scott, the creator of the original Flash Element TD game. The logic is the same with all other tower defence games, defend your base from the attacking waves of creatures. There are four colors of towers, with different types, a total of 11 different towers and various types of creatures. Additionaly, you have 8 different maps to choose to defend your base. Like in all Davids game, interest is the key to success. Compares to others the game is not hard, but having your name in the highscores list is a real challange.
On each map, there are 40 waves of creatures. At my first time, I could make it upto level 36, and at second I finished the game with a score of ~130.000. I am sure that you can make it better, and will share your hints & tips with us.

What I did was used the first blue towers spaced out all over the map, and got to about level 35 with only 2-3 of the best red ones, I finished the game with 2,300,000+ points. I think you should just use the first blue ones as much as you can, almost free.. Oh yeah, and only use the interest bonus.
urm dude ur way sucks tbh…. use only interest bonuses? are you mad! use pure power upgrades, you can get mega damage, and ill show you my tower layout

my red rockets did 496353 damage and on the last level reached 534534. 152724 +250%

I was wrong haha, I get 7 mil easy, not 2 mil. 20 lives in tact.
Just beat the game with 10,600,000 points and 3.5 million dollars =). On easy obviously.
i just used daves way and ended up with 4,113,313 points, with no deaths, it work really good

I just got 16,000,000, the way to get high scores is to use the interest feature. Get an extra 3% everytime!!!! I finished the game with close to 5 million dollars, the key is in the start of the game, put as little towers as you need so you can save up money and then earn interest. Good luck!

Hey I just got to lvl 49 and lost using mostly blues and only using damage bonuses the whole time. Screw getting interest and screw getting lives, get damage bonuses to make up for upgrades and you will win as long as you have a decent setup.

i find the 2nd red towers, upgraded and damage multiplied, are very good 1s for the medium levels, and yeah first blues do rock.

Interest bonuses are def the way to go if you want high scores. I’m getting about 9/10mil on the easy levels, but darned if I can figure out how to get to the top of the scoreboard with these guys who are getting like 17mil.
i can squeeze the switchback to get 15 mill. it seems that scores above 17-18 mill must be using cheats or something. 63 mill? something is wrong here dudes

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article, but it sounds interesting…
9,264,943 // 20 lives - All lvl 1 blue towers and 5 lvl 10 max red towers. Each bonus was used for interest. I didn’t loose any lives. When I started, I could have had 10 top since bottom was 6million, I left and bottom was 14.
I started with 1 lvl 1 basic red tower until I could save up for the blues. I used blues for as long as I dared until they vectors got too close to the exit for comfort and started to install rockets. I started with one, and each level after the interest I upgraded it once. I did this time and time again up through tower 4. Tower five I did 2 levels each round because i was getting over 200k cash every time and it was about round 44 and wanted it maxed.
If I redid my positioning on blue towers and cut out some of the less effective ones I know I could get over 10million.
-That- is how people get such high scores. I’m sick of reading people screaming ‘hacks!’ because they suck at tower defense games. When it comes to competition TD it’s ALWAYS about score, not simply surviving. Refine your tactics. And if you really need a hack that bad to get a good score or not loose a life, you’re pathetic.
Got over 10million, second place in todays top 10.
well, since you guys are so AMAZING (sarcastically btw) you probably already know this, but It’d probly help if you did your upgrades after you clicked “next lvl” so then you can get the intrest for the upgrades…..

i got to level 48 and i say u shud start with green ones and upgrade them to level 10 and u kik ass frm der
have a huge fleet of blue rays 1 or 2 in the middle of your biggest group of towers. that’ll slow down rates of a few vectoids and you’ll have more damage given to the vectoids. works well on yellow sprinters and hard greys

Just get the full upgraded green towers, and use bonus’s for interest. I did the entire first row of level 1 unupgraded green towers, and then upgraded slowly, the upgrades help a ton and should not be overlooked.

on the first level buy 2 green towers and with the money gained from defeating the first level buy a red refractor and save money for red rockets and spammers purple lasers and level 3 green lasers
the first time i won i got 2 interests things and then the rest were power ups
at first buy one green laser dude (upgrade)and then when u have enough money sell it and get the green one that bounces off as u get more money start buying the strongest red things and get a few blue slower down thingys

The highest score is most likely years old, but it being repeated by some sort of program.
i got roughly 36 mil on medium, the people getting 60 mil and more are playing on hard

Use only interest upgrades. Its the only way to go.
can someone explain to me y intrest is best? i use power, and ffind i can complete most of the levels using that. also what are points awarded for?
why are allt he screen shots you guys send of the more easy levels? try scoring high on the frog or no left turns were it is hard.

The points awarded relate to how much interest you earn. The way to get the highest scores is to use mainly interest bonuses and don’t upgrade your towers until you’ve run out of space to place new ones. It isn’t worth upgrading your towers unless you’re using the the power upgrades. Use the smallest amount of towers possible to complete a level and sell towers that are redundant, always build your towers after you’ve pressed the next level button. Remember the interest is compound so the more money you have the more you earn, if you’re frugal you can easily get to a point where the interest you earn in a level will pay for a couple of rocket towers and you’re still making profit. Don’t worry too much about losing the odd life!!
David I really recognize were all kinda ciber dorks but still I play ur game because its addicting and I live in Colombia and don’t be (as we call in Colombia ) picado and this is because u created the game and we want TRUE cheats to have more towers and ur game is a (as we call in Colombia)desparche or desocupe .
I just beat the game on Void. My final setup was 6% interest, 5 level 3 reds, the rest level 2 blues. I used an equal amount of range and power bonuses. Although, for the green attacks on level 40 something, I was forced to buy a few level 3 greens. Then after, I sold them.
which map is the easiest? which mode is easiet with that map?

when ur at lvl 46-(47) /50 and got bout 2.500.000 $, start selling your red rocket towers and buy back. this will give you a nice interest boost. just slow those thingys down:)
i started with 1x red laser, 5x blue ray lvl 1, then my first rocket (on lvl 1), wait as long as u can with upgrades/new towers
i ended with 3 4 maxed red rocket towers. it’s hard to place em in the last 2 lvls - if u sold but it’s worth it:D!
i dont think that i can get much higher with this tactic… somehow ppl get scores of +30.000.000 =/ wicked. - interest can do loads^^
